: In a significant move to reward the hard work of Singareni workers, the government distributed bonus checks during a ceremony led by Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka. This gesture comes in light of the government announcing a profit of ₹2,412 crore, from which ₹796 crore—approximately 33%—has been allocated as bonuses for the workforce.
Each worker will receive a bonus of ₹1.90 lakh, a reflection of the government’s commitment to support and recognize the efforts of those in the Singareni coal fields.
In addition to the bonuses for regular workers, contract workers at Singareni will also benefit from this initiative, with each receiving a bonus of ₹5,000. Bhatti Vikramarka emphasized the importance of these bonuses in appreciating the contributions of all workers and enhancing their welfare.
The distribution of bonus checks is expected to uplift the morale of the workforce and reinforce the government’s dedication to their well-being.
