Amid rising tensions along the Line of Control (LoC), Pakistan has begun circulating false claims about destroying Indian Army bases. Countering these baseless allegations, Deputy National Security Advisor Vikram Misri issued a strong statement clarifying that no Indian Army base has suffered any damage.
Misri called Pakistan’s statements “completely fabricated and misleading,” aimed at creating panic and misinformation among the public. “Let me make it absolutely clear — no Indian Army installation has been damaged. Our forces remain strong, alert, and fully operational,” he said.
This comes shortly after the Indian Army released video footage showing the destruction of Pakistani posts across the LoC in retaliation to repeated ceasefire violations and drone incursions.
Security experts believe Pakistan’s claims are part of a propaganda war to downplay its own losses and shift focus from India’s precise and effective military action. Indian intelligence has also indicated that such misinformation campaigns are often coordinated to influence public opinion and international perception.
The Ministry of Defence has assured citizens that all Army bases are secure, and any threat across the border is being handled with utmost preparedness. The Indian Army continues to monitor the situation closely and is ready to respond to any further provocations
