Telangana Minister K. T. Rama Rao (KTR) has accused the BJP and Congress of colluding to undermine the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project. He claimed that opposition parties are portraying the project as a failure to damage the government’s reputation.
KTR criticized the formation of multiple commissions and committees, alleging they are being used to delay investigations and ignore six key guarantees related to the project.
He also condemned the government’s failure to recover bodies three months after the SLBC tunnel collapse. Further, KTR pointed out that no action was taken when the Sunkishala retaining wall collapsed and the Pedda Vagu breached.
KTR urged immediate and transparent action to resolve these issues and ensure the successful completion of the project, emphasizing the need to prioritize farmers’ welfare and state development.
