Students Risk Safety as TSRTC Services Fall Short:

TSRTC

In a concerning display of risk-taking, boys commuting to college in the city are frequently seen boarding overcrowded TSRTC buses, particularly route 277L. Despite reaching out to TSRTC authorities via social media handles such as @TSRTCHQ and @tsrtcmdoffice, as well as officials like @SajjanarVC and @revanth_anumula, no significant action has been taken to address the issue.

The scarcity of city ordinary services during peak hours has forced nearly 20 students to resort to unsafe travel practices, often clinging to the footboards of buses due to overcrowding. This perilous mode of transport poses a serious threat to their safety and well-being.

Despite repeated calls for action, TSRTC has yet to implement measures to alleviate the problem, leaving students vulnerable to accidents and injuries. The lack of adequate services has resulted in a dangerous situation where students are compelled to risk their lives daily to attend college.

The community urges TSRTC to urgently address the shortage of services and ensure the safety of students during their daily commute. Failure to do so not only jeopardizes the well-being of these young individuals but also reflects poorly on the commitment of TSRTC to prioritize passenger safety and convenience.
