The tragic stampede that unfolded outside M. Chinnaswamy Stadium during the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) IPL 2025 victory celebrations has claimed the lives of seven people and left over 25 injured, according to the latest official reports.

The incident occurred as massive crowds gathered to celebrate RCB’s historic maiden IPL title win. The overwhelming number of fans trying to enter the stadium led to chaotic scenes, resulting in a stampede at multiple entry points.
Police attempted to control the surging crowd with lathi charges, but the situation escalated rapidly, causing panic and injuries among attendees. Emergency responders swiftly transported the injured to Bowring Hospital for urgent medical treatment.
Officials confirmed that the deceased and injured included men, women, and children. The Karnataka government has expressed deep condolences to the families affected by the tragedy and assured a thorough investigation into the incident.
