Indian Army Releases Photos of Destroyed Terror Camps from Operation Sindoor

The Indian Army has officially released photographs and video footage showing the destruction of terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) targeted during Operation Sindoor. These visuals provide concrete evidence of the Indian Air Force’s successful precision strikes on May 6, following the deadly Pahalgam terror attack that claimed 26 lives.

The images reveal extensive damage to structures identified as recruitment centers and training facilities for terrorist groups such as Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT). Several of the buildings hit were located in key areas like Bahawalpur, Muridke, Kotli, and Muzaffarabad — all long suspected of harboring cross-border terrorism infrastructure.

Defense officials stated that the visuals were released “to maintain transparency and counter false narratives” being pushed by Pakistan. A senior military spokesperson said, “These photos clearly demonstrate the accuracy of our operation and the extent of damage inflicted on terror infrastructure.”

In the released footage, damaged rooftops, collapsed walls, and charred structures can be seen, with intelligence confirming the absence of civilian infrastructure near the targets. The Army emphasized that the strikes were planned with strict measures to avoid civilian casualties.

Pakistan initially denied that any strikes took place or that terror sites were hit. However, in light of mounting international pressure and India’s visual proof, Islamabad’s claims have begun to waver.

This development comes amid high tension along the Line of Control, where Pakistani shelling in response to the strikes has killed seven Indian civilians and injured over 30 others.

As India reinforces its stance on zero tolerance for cross-border terrorism, Operation Sindoor marks one of the most significant military actions since the Balakot airstrikes in 2019 — a bold message that terror networks operating under state protection will not go unanswered.
