In a major step towards reviving the capital city of Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan announced that the state is set to become a hub for employment and innovation. Addressing the public ahead of a significant launch event, he emphasized that local youth will no longer need to migrate to cities like Bengaluru, Chennai, or Hyderabad in search of job opportunities.
“Now, Andhra Pradesh will create jobs for our own people and attract skilled professionals from across the country,” said Pawan Kalyan. He expressed confidence that the relaunch of Amaravati will mark a turning point in the state’s development.
Adding to the momentum, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to inaugurate 94 development projects worth ₹57,962 crore. These projects span infrastructure, urban development, education, health care, and industry, all aimed at boosting economic growth and creating long-term employment.
The Amaravati relaunch is part of a broader effort by the Andhra Pradesh government to restore the vision of a world-class capital city, which had seen delays and setbacks in the past. With the renewed push, the state hopes to make Amaravati a model city that supports both residents and incoming talent with new opportunities and advanced facilities.
The large-scale investment is expected to significantly impact the region’s economy and strengthen Andhra Pradesh’s position as a destination for investment and innovation.
