Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh made strong remarks in praise of Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the Amaravati Relaunch event held on Friday. Speaking to a large gathering, Lokesh said that Narendra Modi is India’s strongest weapon against any threat, including from Pakistan.
“We have a powerful weapon to face a hundred Pakistanis — and that weapon is Narendra Modi,” said Lokesh. “Don’t provoke a lion. With just one strike from Modi, Pakistan would vanish from the world map.”
His comments drew applause from the crowd but also sparked discussions online for their bold tone. The event, however, remained focused on the developmental agenda for Andhra Pradesh.
The Amaravati Relaunch marks a major step in reviving the long-stalled capital project. Prime Minister Modi is set to launch 94 development projects worth ₹57,962 crore. These include infrastructure, urban development, health care, education, and industrial projects — all aimed at transforming Amaravati into a modern capital and creating job opportunities across the state.
Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, who also spoke at the event, emphasized that the youth of Andhra Pradesh would no longer need to migrate to other cities for employment, as the state itself would become a magnet for talent and investment.
The large-scale initiatives announced during the Amaravati Relaunch are expected to significantly boost Andhra Pradesh’s economy and reshape the future of its capital region.
