The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) accuses the Congress party government of conspiring to dismantle crucial welfare schemes that have been benefiting the people. The party is organizing protest programs against the cancellation of these programs, including Grilahkshmi, Dalit Bandhu, and sheep distribution.
The BRS emphasizes that abolishing Dalit Bandhu and sheep distribution is a severe betrayal to the weaker sections and Dalits. The Congress government is also scrapping developmental programs such as R&B, Panchayati Raj Roads, and funds allocated to towns by the previous administration.
A teleconference involving party legislators, former MLAs, party in-charges, party working president KTR, senior leaders, and former minister Harish Rao has been planned to discuss the situation. The BRS alleges that the cancellation of these schemes is politically motivated and harms the interests of the people.
The party asserts that, regardless of political affiliation, the government is a permanent entity, and canceling beneficial programs is detrimental to the citizens. They criticize the cancellation of public utility infrastructure projects and express concern about the discontinuation of the Grilahakshmi program.
The BRS stands against the cancellation of programs that benefit the people, including the distribution of sheep that provides financial security to Yadav families. The Congress party’s move to cancel these programs is strongly opposed by the BRS, and they demand immediate action to fulfill promises made to beneficiaries.
They express dissatisfaction with the cancellation of the Dalit Bandhu program and urge the government to honor its promise to expand and financially support the program. The BRS pledges to undertake protest programs in constituency centers to support beneficiaries affected by the Congress party’s decisions.
Furthermore, the BRS accuses the government of canceling development programs granted to towns and villages by the previous administration, including the revocation of development funds for municipalities. The cancellation of ongoing infrastructure projects is criticized as a misstep.
Party leaders, including KTR and Harish Rao, encourage MLAs, constituency in-charges, and former MLAs to raise awareness about the Congress party’s actions in canceling crucial development and welfare programs.
