KTR Condemns Congress: Threatens Opposition Over Welfare Scheme Cancellations

Brs meeting

BRS Working President KTR emphasizes the detrimental impact of canceling welfare programs, stating it would strain the government’s resources. The government’s freezing of Dalit Bandhu scheme accounts and the unjust cancellation of the Grilahakshmi scheme by the Congress party are condemned as detrimental to the welfare of the poor. KTR pledges BRS party’s support for the affected beneficiaries and social groups.

KTR warns that the Congress government’s actions, attempting to halt programs initiated by KTR and BRS for the poor, will face opposition responsibility. The Dalit Bandhu program, aimed at the economic development of Dalit families, is highlighted, criticizing the Congress party’s failure to fulfill election promises. KTR raises concerns about the freezing of Dalit Bandhu beneficiaries’ bank accounts and neglect of those involved in sheep distribution.

The cancellation of Griha Lakshmi scheme after identifying beneficiaries further sparks criticism from KTR. He vows that the BRS party, as the main opposition, will stand by the interests of the poor, Dalits, and BCs if the Congress party conspires against them. KTR accuses the Congress of playing political dramas, emphasizing the need for accountability in fulfilling election promises. He asserts that the BRS party will pressurize the government to fulfill commitments made to the people.

KTR reflects on the contrast between the efficient welfare schemes during the Bharatiya Rashtra Samithi government and the current administration, highlighting the inconvenience caused to people standing in queues for government schemes. He pledges the party’s field-level efforts to expose and counter the disorderly performance of the Congress party.

KTR conveys these sentiments during a preparatory meeting for Nizamabad Lok Sabha at Telangana Bhavan.
