Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, currently serving time in jail, has taken action to address water supply and sewage issues in parts of the city. In a letter directed to Delhi Minister Atishi, who is overseeing water supply responsibilities, Kejriwal expressed his concern over the reported problems and urged for immediate action.
“It has come to my notice that some parts of Delhi are facing water supply and sewage problems. I am concerned about this. People should not face any problems as I am in jail. Direct the Chief Secretary and other officials to solve the problems immediately. If necessary… seek the help of the Lt. Governor of Delhi,” the letter stated.
Despite his incarceration, Kejriwal remains proactive in ensuring the well-being of Delhi’s residents. His directive emphasizes the urgency of resolving the issues and underscores the importance of collaboration among government officials to swiftly address the challenges faced by the citizens.
The letter serves as a testament to Kejriwal’s commitment to governance, even under challenging circumstances. It highlights the need for continuous efforts to uphold the welfare of the people and maintain essential services, regardless of the leader’s physical presence in office.
Delhi residents await further developments as authorities work towards resolving the water supply and sewage concerns, with Kejriwal’s instructions guiding the course of action from his confinement.
