CM Revanth Reddy Launches ₹12,600 Cr Indira Soura Giri Water Scheme in Nagarkurnool

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy visited Nagarkurnool district today to launch the ambitious Indira Soura Giri Jal Vikasa Pathakam (Indira Solar Hill Water Development Scheme). The CM arrived by helicopter from Hyderabad, accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka and Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy.

The flagship scheme, with a massive budget of ₹12,600 crore, was officially inaugurated at Macharam village in Amrabad mandal. The government plans to distribute solar pump sets to beneficiaries under this program, with each unit worth ₹6 lakh being provided at 100% subsidy.

During the event, CM Revanth Reddy distributed solar pump sets to eligible farmers and addressed the gathering, emphasizing the government’s commitment to sustainable development and farmer welfare through clean energy solutions.

Following the inauguration, the Chief Minister visited the Sitarama Anjaneya Swamy Temple to offer prayers and later participated in a public meeting.

In the latter part of the day, CM Revanth Reddy traveled to his native village, Kondareddypalle, where he performed special pujas at the local Anjaneya Swamy Temple.

The Chief Minister is scheduled to return to Hyderabad later in the evening.
