Concerns Grow Over Group-1 Mains Exams Amid High Court Cases

Group 1 Exams

More than 14 cases have been filed in the High Court concerning the Group-1 examinations, raising concerns among candidates about the upcoming mains exams scheduled from October 21 to 27.

Candidates are demanding that the examinations be postponed until the court resolves these cases. They argue that proceeding with the exams amid ongoing legal issues could lead to further complications, particularly if the court issues a verdict that requires changes after the exams have taken place.

Among the key cases set for hearings is the one related to the final key and GO-29, which will be reviewed on the 27th of this month. Additionally, a petition regarding local eligibility will be heard on October 3, while another petition focused on horizontal reservations is slated for November 7.

In light of these developments, candidates are insisting that the mains exams should only be conducted after the respective cases are settled. Their primary concern is to ensure fairness and transparency in the examination process, as they navigate this uncertain situation.

As the exam dates approach, candidates and their supporters continue to voice their concerns, urging authorities to consider their demands seriously. The outcome of these court cases will significantly impact the future of the Group-1 examinations and the candidates involved.
