In a strong counteraction to increasing cross-border threats, the Indian Army has destroyed multiple Pakistani drone launch pads and army posts near the Line of Control (LoC) in the Jammu region. The action comes in response to recent drone infiltration attempts and heightened ceasefire violations from the Pakistani side.
According to defence sources, Indian forces detected suspicious drone activity along the LoC and quickly launched a targeted operation to neutralize the threat. Several drone launch sites and Pakistani army positions that were being used to support these activities were destroyed in the operation.
A senior army official stated, “We identified and took immediate action against enemy posts and launch pads used to send drones across the border. This is a clear message that India will not tolerate any form of aggression.”
The use of drones for surveillance and attacks has been on the rise, particularly in Jammu and Kashmir. In recent months, the Indian Army has intensified monitoring and counter-drone strategies to ensure civilian safety and national security.
No casualties have been reported on the Indian side during this operation. The situation along the LoC remains tense but under control, with the armed forces maintaining high alert.
The government has reiterated its commitment to protecting India’s sovereignty and warned that any future provocations will be met with strong retaliation.
