Sources within the intelligence establishment claim that Malhotra developed close ties with Ali Hasan, a Pakistani national reportedly connected to the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). Investigators have unearthed chat logs between the two, where Malhotra allegedly engaged in conversations using coded language. One of the more alarming findings includes discussions about a potential marriage proposal from Hasan, which authorities believe may have been a tactic to gain her trust.
The probe, dubbed “Operation Sindoor”, was launched after authorities suspected a data leak during key security operations along the India-Pakistan border. Officials allege that Malhotra passed on critical details related to drone strike movements and regional blackouts during the operation.
According to officials, her 2024 visit to Pakistan—documented on her YouTube channel—was not merely a travel vlog mission but may have served as a front to establish deeper connections with individuals across the border.
“This case is a serious national security concern,” said a senior intelligence officer on condition of anonymity. “We are examining whether classified operational data was deliberately communicated and if it had any direct impact on military activities.”
Malhotra, who has over 500,000 subscribers, has not yet issued a public statement regarding the allegations. Meanwhile, her YouTube channel remains active, though several recent videos have been taken down.
