In a stunning turn of events, Telangana Minister K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) has leveled serious allegations against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi regarding the Musi River project. KTR claimed that Gandhi is not only behind the controversial project but is also motivated by financial interests, raising eyebrows in political circles.
Speaking at a press conference, KTR stated, “Rahul Gandhi has approved the Musi project for the sake of money bags, not Revanth Reddy. He is the one pulling the strings behind HYDRA’s actions.” The Minister accused Gandhi of using bulldozers to demolish the homes of the poor while hiding in the shadows, questioning, “While people suffer under the bulldozer government in Hyderabad, where has Rahul Gandhi disappeared?”
KTR’s comments come amidst rising tensions in the region, where many residents are facing displacement due to ongoing demolitions. He recalled a past instance when Rahul Gandhi had claimed he would respond to any call, even from a child in Telangana, and challenged him to show his commitment now.
The Minister further alleged that the Congress leadership, in collaboration with Revanth Reddy, is demolishing the homes of the poor to benefit financially. “The Congress party is focused on filling their pockets in Delhi at the expense of the impoverished,” he asserted.
KTR indicated that he is aware of which contractor will be awarded the project and promised to reveal the details in due course. “The Congress leadership is more interested in the money from Musi than the plight of its victims,” he said.
In his closing remarks, KTR stated, “This is not Musi beautification; it’s Musi lootification,” drawing a stark distinction between the project’s stated goals and its actual implications for the local population.
As the political landscape heats up, all eyes will be on how the Congress party responds to these allegations and the ongoing developments regarding the Musi River project.
