KTR Mocks Congress Ministers for Using Helicopters Like Shared Autos

KTR

Senior Telangana leader K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) has sharply criticized Congress ministers for their frequent use of helicopters, comparing it to riding in shared autos. His comments have stirred political debate amid growing scrutiny over government spending and VVIP travel.

Speaking at a public meeting, KTR remarked, “Congress ministers are using helicopters like shared autos.” He further added, “They are not even stepping out of their houses without a helicopter.”

The comments are aimed at highlighting what KTR calls the extravagance and misuse of public resources by Congress leaders currently in power. According to KTR, the ministers’ over-dependence on air travel reflects their disconnect from the public and their reluctance to engage directly with ground-level issues.

KTR’s remarks come at a time when the opposition has been questioning the Congress government’s spending habits, including its use of chartered flights and high travel allowances.

Political analysts say such comments are part of a broader strategy by opposition parties to position themselves as more connected to the common people ahead of upcoming elections. The Congress party has yet to officially respond to KTR’s statements.

As the political war of words continues in Telangana, voters are likely to see more such pointed attacks as both sides gear up for a fierce electoral battle.
