Indian cricketer Kuldeep Yadav got engaged to his childhood friend Vanshika in a private ceremony held in Lucknow on Tuesday evening. The engagement was an intimate affair attended by close family members and friends, including fellow cricketer Rinku Singh and others from the Uttar Pradesh cricketing fraternity.
The event took place at a private venue in the Shyam Nagar area of the city, where the couple exchanged rings in a traditional ceremony. Vanshika, who hails from the same locality and currently works with Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), has known Kuldeep since their early school days.
Photos from the ceremony quickly surfaced on social media, showing Kuldeep and Vanshika dressed in elegant traditional attire, smiling and posing together, surrounded by loved ones.
The 30-year-old left-arm wrist spinner, who played a key role for Delhi Capitals in the recently concluded IPL 2025 season, is also part of India’s Test squad for the upcoming England tour. Known for his humble demeanor and effective bowling spells, Kuldeep’s engagement has delighted his fans and cricket fraternity alike.
Sources close to the family say wedding plans are in the early stages, and a formal announcement will be made soon.
