Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy flagged off the first batch of Hajj pilgrims from Hyderabad today. The flag-off ceremony was held at the Hajj House in the city, where the Chief Minister extended his best wishes to the pilgrims for a safe and spiritually fulfilling journey.
Addressing the gathering, Revanth Reddy emphasized the importance of communal harmony and expressed pride in supporting people of all faiths in their religious pursuits. He assured that the government is committed to ensuring that all arrangements for the pilgrims, including travel, accommodation, and health facilities, are handled with utmost care.
The first batch of pilgrims departed by bus to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, from where they will board a direct flight to Saudi Arabia for the annual Hajj pilgrimage.
