JANGAON, Telangana – In a startling revelation, Jangaon police apprehended four individuals on Monday, uncovering a scam involving a purported “magic box” believed to bring wealth and fortune. The accused, en route from Hyderabad to Warangal, were found in possession of the mysterious box during a routine vehicle inspection.
The box, which they claimed was a celestial gift with the power to transform lives, came with an exorbitant price tag of ₹50 crores. Upon interrogation, the scamsters admitted to using the box to exploit innocent people by showcasing supposed magical abilities that could make individuals rich and alter their destinies.
Jangaon police identified the arrested individuals as Kethavath Shankar (43), Khasim (33), Mohammad Azar (27), and Korra Gasiram (50). The accused disclosed their intent to sell the fraudulent box in Warangal, preying on unsuspecting victims who fell for the allure of newfound prosperity.
The scam unfolded as the individuals performed deceptive magic tricks with the box, convincing gullible individuals of its mystical powers. Authorities are now cautioning the public to be wary of such fraudulent schemes and report any suspicious activities.
