In a move to enhance public transport convenience, the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) has introduced a ₹20 Metro Combi Ticket for monthly pass holders in Hyderabad. This new ticket allows passengers holding monthly passes for Metro Express and ordinary city buses to travel on Metro Deluxe buses for a single journey by paying just ₹20 extra.
The initiative is currently applicable within the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) limits and aims to ease congestion on regular city buses by encouraging commuters to shift to Metro Deluxe services, which offer better comfort and less crowding.
TSRTC officials have stated that this step is part of a broader effort to make urban travel more seamless and flexible. Passengers can access the Metro Combi Ticket by simply presenting a valid monthly pass and paying ₹20 when boarding a Metro Deluxe bus.
Commuters welcomed the move, appreciating the affordable option to upgrade their travel experience without purchasing an entirely new pass. The corporation hopes this option will not only improve daily travel but also boost public transport usage in the city.
