The Welspun Group, led by Chairman Mr. B. K. Goenka, has expressed a strong interest in expanding its investments in the vibrant state of Telangana. A recent meeting took place between Chief Minister Shri Revanth_anumula and a delegation from the Welspun Group, including Mr. Goenka, at the Telangana State Secretariat on a Saturday.
During the meeting, Chief Minister Shri @revanth_anumula outlined the state government’s commitment to fostering industrial growth and attracting investments. He announced the implementation of a new business-friendly policy aimed at creating an environment conducive to the development of industries. The Chief Minister assured the delegation of the continuous support of the government in their endeavors.
Mr. B. K. Goenka, Chairman of Welspun Group, shared exciting news about the company’s upcoming venture in the IT sector. Welspun Group plans to launch its cutting-edge IT services at the Chandanveli Industrial Estate, with a substantial investment of Rs. 250 crores. Mr. Goenka also expressed the company’s eagerness to contribute to the growth of the IT sector in second and third-tier cities. This initiative aims to provide valuable employment opportunities to the youth in the Vikarabad and Adilabad districts.
The meeting was attended by key officials, including Mrs. Shantikumari, Principal Secretary, Mr. Seshadri, Principal Secretary for IT and Industries, Mr. Jayesh Ranjan, Special Secretary for Industries, Dr. Vishnuvardhan Reddy, CM OSD Mr. Ajith Reddy, and representatives from Welspun Group, such as Mr. Chintan Thakar and Mr. Bhargava. The discussions delved into the comprehensive plans and strategies for the envisioned investments, highlighting the collaborative efforts between the government and Welspun Group in propelling the economic development of the region.
