In a shocking development, Jyoti Malhotra, a popular YouTuber and travel influencer from Hisar, Haryana, has been arrested by Indian intelligence agencies for her alleged involvement in espionage activities linked to Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).

According to investigators, Malhotra was in contact with Pakistani handlers and is suspected to have been cultivated as a long-term intelligence asset. While she reportedly did not have direct access to classified defense information, officials believe her growing network among public figures and influencers made her valuable for spreading misinformation or gathering soft intelligence.
Sources revealed that Malhotra had previously visited Pakistan and China, and she was also reportedly seen with a man who was spotted delivering a cake to the Pakistan High Commission in Delhi, shortly after the recent Pahalgam terror attack.
The timing and nature of her travels have raised further suspicion, especially as she was allegedly active online during periods of communication blackouts, fueling concerns over her role in coordinated disinformation campaigns.
In a related development, authorities in Nuh, Haryana, arrested Tarif, another individual suspected of being an ISI agent. Tarif, who allegedly passed sensitive information to Pakistan, is believed to have used multiple SIM cards and encrypted messaging platforms for communication with Pakistani operatives.
This marks the second ISI-related arrest in Nuh in just two days, intensifying fears of deep-rooted espionage operations within India. Investigations are currently ongoing, with national security agencies working to uncover the full extent of the network.
These incidents have once again highlighted the evolving nature of espionage and the growing threat posed by unconventional operatives, including those using social media and digital platforms as cover for intelligence gathering.
