Congress Candidate Ranjit Reddy Declares Assets Worth Rs 435 Crore, Challenges BJP’s MP

Ranjit Reddy, the Congress candidate contesting from Chevella, has declared total assets amounting to a staggering Rs 435 crore. Set to face off against BJP’s Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, Reddy’s financial profile indicates a significant growth of 166% in the past five years, during which he served as an MP from BRS.

Formerly holding assets worth Rs 163 crore in 2019, Reddy, along with his wife and dependents, now possesses movable assets valued at Rs 294 crore, primarily comprising shares in companies such as Rajeswara Hatcheries, Rajeswara Feed, Rohini Minerals, Rohini Ispat, DSR SR Infra, and others.

In addition, Reddy owns immovable assets worth Rs 141 crore, including lands and buildings situated in Medchal, Ibrahimpatnam, Banjara Hills, and Jubilee Hills.

With a background in veterinary sciences, having earned a Master’s degree from the university at Rajendranagar, Reddy’s financial disclosures also reveal liabilities amounting to Rs 22 crore. Despite his financial success, Reddy faces a single criminal case.

As the electoral battle heats up in Chevella, Reddy’s formidable financial resources and political prowess pose a formidable challenge to his opponent, setting the stage for a closely watched contest in the upcoming elections.
