In a sharp attack on Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, BJP MP Etela Rajender has demanded that he resign if he is unable to manage the responsibilities of governance. Speaking to the media, Etela criticized the Congress-led state government for what he called “ineffective leadership” and warned that the public would not tolerate continued failure.
“If you can’t handle the job, resign, Revanth Reddy,” Etela said. “If you shamelessly continue like this, the people will teach you a lesson.”
The comments come amid growing political tension in the state, with opposition leaders ramping up criticism over administration, law and order, and public welfare issues.
Etela’s remarks reflect the BJP’s aggressive stance as it positions itself as a strong alternative in Telangana, following the Congress party’s recent electoral success. Meanwhile, the Chief Minister’s office has not yet responded to the remarks.
As Telangana’s political atmosphere heats up, further exchanges between the ruling and opposition parties are expected in the coming days.
