Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is officially heading to Hollywood with her debut in the upcoming horror drama Blessed Be the Evil. The film, directed by Anurag Rudra and co-written with Lions Movies President Gatha Tiwary, marks a major milestone in Ranaut’s cinematic journey.
The film’s plot centers around a Christian couple who move to an abandoned farmhouse after suffering a tragic miscarriage. As they attempt to rebuild their lives, they are confronted by a dark, supernatural force that tests their love, faith, and sanity. Ranaut is set to play one of the lead roles, and her performance is expected to bring emotional depth and intensity to the chilling storyline.
Joining her on screen will be American actor Tyler Posey, best known for Teen Wolf, and Scarlet Rose Stallone, daughter of Hollywood legend Sylvester Stallone. The film is set to begin production this summer in New York and will be presented to international buyers at the upcoming Cannes Film Market.
Kangana, known for her strong screen presence and bold choices in Indian cinema, expressed her excitement over the new venture. “Exploring new dimensions as an actor has always driven me. Blessed Be the Evil is a gripping story, and I’m thrilled to bring it to life with such a talented team,” she said in a statement.
This project also reflects the growing global collaboration in the film industry, with Indian artists increasingly finding space on international platforms. Industry insiders believe that Ranaut’s Hollywood debut could open doors for more Indian actors to explore diverse roles outside Bollywood.
Blessed Be the Evil will be produced under the Lions Movies banner and is expected to release in 2026.
Stay tuned for more updates as production begins and the cast dives into what promises to be a spine-chilling cinematic experience.
