In a tragic incident that has sent shockwaves through the Karimnagar district, a young man died by suicide after his long-time girlfriend allegedly married someone else. The incident occurred in Lakshmanapalli village, under Illandakunta mandal.
The deceased, identified as Daar Ellesh, had reportedly been in a relationship with a woman named Varalakshmi for the past seven years. According to sources, Ellesh was devastated after learning that Varalakshmi had recently married another man, allegedly without informing him.
Overcome with grief and emotional distress, Ellesh recorded a selfie video expressing his anguish and disappointment. In the video, he stated that he had call recordings to support his claims and requested that his body not be moved until Varalakshmi arrived. He also urged his parents to pursue legal action against her family.
Shortly after recording the message, Ellesh took the extreme step by lying on the railway tracks, ending his life.
Local authorities have initiated an investigation into the matter. The police are reviewing the contents of the video and phone recordings as part of the inquiry. The incident has raised serious concerns about mental health awareness and the importance of emotional support during personal crises.
