In a major step towards strengthening global collaborations in the automotive and mobility technology sectors, KT Rama Rao (KTR), the former IT and Industries Minister of Telangana and working president of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), inaugurated the Pragmatic Design Solutions Limited (PDSL) Knowledge Centre at the Warwick University Science Park in Coventry, United Kingdom.

The newly launched facility houses a cutting-edge Near Shore Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) Automotive Test Centre. This state-of-the-art lab will support advanced Research & Development for some of the world’s leading automotive brands, including McLaren, Aston Martin, and Jaguar Land Rover.
Speaking at the inauguration, KTR highlighted Telangana’s consistent push towards innovation-driven development and its mission to make the state a global hub for emerging technologies. “With initiatives like T-Hub, TASK, and TS-iPASS, Telangana has become one of the most attractive destinations for technology and industry partnerships. The PDSL Knowledge Centre in the UK marks yet another milestone in our global outreach,” he said.
PDSL, a Hyderabad-based engineering and design solutions firm, is now expanding its footprint internationally with this knowledge centre, aiming to facilitate high-end testing services and promote Indo-UK technological collaborations.
KTR’s visit to the UK is part of a broader international tour that includes delivering the keynote address at India Week 2025 in London, organized by Bridge India. During the event, he emphasized Telangana’s inclusive policies, rapid digital transformation, and success stories in attracting foreign investments.
This inauguration not only marks a strategic collaboration between Telangana and the UK in the mobility sector but also positions Hyderabad as a global contender in automotive innovation and smart technology development.
