Limited Drone Activity Detected in Samba Sector, Situation Under Control: Army Sources

Amid rising tensions and reports of a possible ceasefire violation, the Indian Army has clarified that only a limited number of Pakistani drones were detected in the Samba sector of Jammu & Kashmir, and that there is no cause for alarm.

Sources within the Army stated, “Comparatively, a very small number of drones have come in the Samba sector. They are being engaged, and there is nothing to be alarmed about.” This statement comes after initial concerns suggested a breach of the recently declared ceasefire between India and Pakistan.

Security forces were quick to respond, using anti-drone technology and maintaining heightened surveillance to track and neutralize the aerial threat. So far, no casualties or damage have been reported, and officials have emphasized that the situation is under full control.

The drone activity comes shortly after the two countries, under international pressure and diplomatic efforts, agreed to scale down hostilities along the Line of Control (LoC). Analysts believe such minor intrusions, while concerning, do not necessarily signal a full breakdown of the ceasefire unless followed by escalation.

The Indian Army has reassured citizens that all necessary measures are being taken to secure the border areas and monitor any future developments.
