The ongoing Tirupati Laddu controversy has been labeled a conspiracy orchestrated by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), according to senior Congress leader Jaggareddy. He asserted that the BJP is influencing Chandrababu Naidu’s comments on the issue to create discord between the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) in a bid to increase their electoral seats.
During a recent press conference, Jaggareddy emphasized that both Chandrababu Naidu and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy have utterly failed to secure special status for the state. He criticized the leadership of both parties for their inability to deliver on this crucial demand, which has been a long-standing aspiration of the people of Andhra Pradesh.
“Chandrababu and Jagan have completely failed in their efforts to bring special status to Andhra Pradesh,” Jaggareddy stated. “The promise of special status and the completion of the Polavaram project can only be realized with the Congress party in power.”
Jaggareddy’s remarks come amid rising tensions and political maneuvering surrounding the laddu controversy, which has gained significant media attention. The controversy centers on the distribution and management of the famous Tirupati laddus, which has been a traditional offering at the Tirumala temple.
The Congress leader further predicted that in the upcoming elections, the people of Andhra Pradesh would favor the Congress party, suggesting that the BJP’s attempts to create divisions would backfire. “The people of AP will turn to the Congress party in the next elections,” he asserted confidently.
As the political landscape in Andhra Pradesh continues to evolve, the ramifications of the Tirupati Laddu controversy and its perceived connections to the BJP may play a significant role in shaping the upcoming electoral outcomes. The Congress party is poised to capitalize on the discontent surrounding the current leadership’s failures, aiming to strengthen its position in the state.
