Massive Israeli Strikes Target Hezbollah in Lebanon, Thousands Killed

Israel

In what is being described as one of the deadliest nights in the conflict, Israeli airstrikes targeted Hezbollah forces across Lebanon on the eve of October 7, resulting in the deaths of thousands of Hezbollah militants. The strikes, which came in retaliation to recent provocations, shook the Lebanese capital, Beirut, with a mysterious large fireball rising over the city’s skyline.

The BBC reported this as “the worst night so far in Beirut,” with residents witnessing unprecedented destruction and chaos. The Israeli military has been intensifying its campaign against Hezbollah strongholds in southern Lebanon, where militants have been launching attacks against Israeli territory.

In a significant diplomatic development, French President Emmanuel Macron called for a halt to arms supplies to Israel, urging de-escalation in the region. Despite these pleas, Israel remains steadfast in its military campaign, aiming to dismantle Hezbollah’s infrastructure.

Adding to the controversy, one of the Israeli strikes reportedly destroyed a French-owned gas station in Lebanon, further straining relations between Israel and France.

The situation continues to escalate as both sides refuse to back down, with no sign of the conflict abating.
