In a strong and clear message following the recent Pahalgam terror attack, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has declared that the Indian government will take firm action against terrorism and has given the Indian Army complete freedom to act.
During a high-level security meeting with top Army officials, PM Modi said the Army is free to choose the date, time, and target for any retaliatory action. He emphasized that terrorism will be completely eliminated, and the government will not tolerate any threats to national security.
“I have full trust in our soldiers,” the Prime Minister said, assuring the armed forces of the government’s full support in their operations. He added that India will give a strong and fitting reply to those responsible for the brutal attack in Pahalgam.
The Pahalgam attack, which claimed the lives of several civilians and security personnel, has sparked outrage across the nation. Security forces have since intensified counter-terrorism operations in Jammu and Kashmir and surrounding regions.
Government sources indicate that further strategic decisions are being planned and that India is prepared to act decisively in the face of continued threats.
